Nondiscrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity,
and Title IX coordinators at Caltech
Caltech is committed to equal opportunity for all persons without
regard to sex, race, creed, color, religion, national origin, ancestry,
age, marital status, pregnancy, gender identity, sexual orientation,
status as disabled veteran, a veteran of the Vietnam Era or other eligible
veteran, and for otherwise qualified individuals with a disability.
The Provost has been designated as the Equal Employment Coordinator
for faculty, the Director of Employee Relations for staff, the Undergraduate
Dean for undergraduate students, and the Dean of Graduate Studies for
graduate students.
Institute
policy on Nondiscrimination and Equal Employment Opportunity 
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, as amended, is a comprehensive
federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in
any federally funded education program or activity. Inquiries concerning the Institute's policies,
compliance with applicable laws, statutes, and regulations (such
as Title IX, and section 504), and complaints may be directed to
