The mission of the Caltech Center for Inclusion & Diversity (CCID) is to provide policy and programming support for the campus' commitment to fairness, access, and inclusion in all university practices. We create and implement campus-wide initiatives and programs that promote value for all of our members.
Our objectives are to:
- Promote and provide access to information and campus resources to ensure the inclusion of underrepresented, underserved and minorities (URM), women, and lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) students in all aspects of campus life.
- Collaborate with other offices and support services (both on and off campus) to ensure that our community is actively engaged and able to access resources that help them achieve their academic, personal, and/or interpersonal goals.
Our resources include, but are not limited to, affinity club support and planning, discussion groups, mentorship programs, counseling and support services, scholarship and grant opportunities, training and education, and the planning, implementation, and evaluation of inclusive strategies in all areas of campus life.
