Student Wellness Services is committed to supporting the health and emotional well-being of Caltech students. Through individualized treatment planning, consultation, and outreach, we provide direct services and community-level interventions to improve student wellness and allow students to focus on their pursuit of academic success and holistic development.
There are a number of ways that you can obtain confidential consultation and referrals for counseling services, both within and external to Caltech. Explore the options below to find the one that's best for you.
The purpose of the Caltech Safe Zone Program ("Tech Zone") is to continue to foster an affirming and engaging campus climate by identifying and educating members of our campus community who are visibly supportive of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, and questioning students, as well as all individuals regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity.
To help serve and grow its diverse community of individuals, the Center for Inclusion & Diversity's website includes information for Caltech's prospective students, undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, faculty, staff and community members.
We invite you to use these resources to help identify and implement inclusive teaching practices that support the learning of diverse students. CTLO is available to discuss these and other ideas and help implement them in your unique context.
